Sindy’s boyfriend, Paul, joined the range in 1965. His name was inspired by Paul McCartney of The Beatles, capturing the spirit of the Swinging Sixties. The pair first met at a dance, where Sindy spotted a well-dressed young man across the room, marking the start of their story together.
As Sindy’s popularity grew, so did her circle of friends, bringing even more fun. Mitzi and Betsy arrived in 1967, followed by Vicki and Poppet in 1968, completing the much-loved Sindy Set.
In 1966, Patch was introduced as Sindy’s cheeky younger sister. With her playful personality, distinctive style, she quickly became a favourite member of the Sindy family.
Sindy’s best friend, Gayle, joined the range in 1978. Friendly, fashionable and always by Sindy’s side, she became one of Sindy’s most popular companions and a much-loved addition.
